For longtime kitten advocate Jackie Wilde, the kitten that changed everything was Journey. Jackie has spent many years fostering, rescuing, and caring for kittens in need, often stepping in for the smallest and most vulnerable. When Journey came into her life, that rescue became the inspiration to turn years of dedication and a deep love for kittens into something more. The Journey Project was born, and Jackie’s longtime passion became a reality as a nonprofit resuce organization focused on helping even more kittens get the healthy, happy futures they deserve.

 

The Journey Project may be new, but its mission is already growing. Currently, seven dedicated fosters are caring for approximately 25 kittens, providing them with safe homes, food, medical care, socialization, and plenty of love while they wait for their forever families. But there are always more kittens that need help, and every kitten we can save depends on the support of our community. 

 

There are so many ways to become part of their journey. We are looking for additional foster families who can provide a temporary safe place, adopters ready to give a kitten a forever home, and donations to help with veterinary expenses, food, and everyday supplies.
